Come hang out with the RoundUp Girls, take a ride on Stetson, the mechanical bull, learn the newest line dances, and dance to music videos of your favorite country artists mixed by DJ Jeff Beck. About the venue: Richmond Roundup is hosted by the Hat Factory, an outstanding and progressive downtown live entertainment venue. Hat Factory plays host to local, regional and national acts including bands, comedy and dance nights. It is an ideal location for special events, functions and parties. Hat Factory is located by the canal at Shockoe Bottom, in the historic Shockoe Slip district.
Originally built in 1896 to house the Virginia Paper Company, our building became home of the Lady Byrd Hat Factory in 1965 (hence our name). We have renovated and rehabilitated the venue to include recycled original materials. While updated and modern, the club’s character pays homage to it’s historic presence.
